# SFTP

Couchdrop lets you use SFTP without managing traditional SFTP infrastructure. Run Couchdrop as a secure SFTP server or endpoint for external partners and systems, or connect Couchdrop to existing external SFTP servers and manage them alongside your cloud storage. 

You can use Couchdrop SFTP to:

* Host secure SFTP endpoints for customers and partners
* Connect to external or partner-managed SFTP servers
* Receive files directly into SharePoint, Google Drive, and other storage platforms
* Automate scheduled and event-driven SFTP transfers
