# Connect Platforms

## Overview

System integrations allow you to connect a system that Couchdrop can use to stream data into.&#x20;

These differ from storage integrations, as storage integrations are external file systems, and platforms are external system we stream data into, such as databases or queues.&#x20;

## Using Platforms in Couchdrop

Platform integrations can be used in File Actions and Automations as actions.&#x20;
